7th Framework Programme in Poland inauguration conference

The main objective of the Conference Launching the 7th Framework Programme (2007-2013) is to officially start FP7 in Poland and to assist the preparation of projects to FP7. During the Conference the basic information about major aims, rules of participation, budget and structure of FP7 will be presented. The Conference will enable entering working relationships of research and industrial teams interested in creating consortia preparing the projects of FP7. Moreover, the conference will provide the strengthening of European cooperation in the area of scientific research, new technologies and innovation, in particular the promotion of Polish technological and research initiatives.

HFP’s Third General Assembly

The European Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technology Platform Third General Assembly and Exhibition/ Demonstration Event 2006 will take place on 4-6 October 2006 in Brussels, Belgium.

As in 2005, a Demonstration/Exhibition and Drive & Ride session will be organised in parallel to the HFP’s Third General Assembly 2006 in Brussels. The Exhibition and Drive & Ride offers many opportunities to make your company visible and to present your latest achievements in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell products and services. Indoor exhibition space is already nearing its limits!

Renewable sources of energy will have a major role to the energy balance in a major role to the energy balance in upcoming years. Romania has also an important energy potential in solar, wind energy and biomass and offers utilization availabilities at the local and national level.

The “Strategy of capitalizing renewable energy sources”, drawn up by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in 2003, proposes as a 2015 target that the share of renewable sources reach about 10% of the overall demand.
